About
Prophet Technology is started as a way for me to show case my background including my programming skills and portfolio of software and website development. My goal basically its going to be a combination of a blog and a website that will let me help people untangle the various technology terminology and usage.
As short insight to my background, I got my start in programming when I got my first PC, an IBM PC XT clone back 1981. Early on I started with BASIC programming and eventually move to Pascal and C. I found out that having this chance since I was young has given me an early start to understand what I really want to do which is building a good and useful software.
When I graduated from Purdue in Electrical Engineering in 1996, there weren’t much job opening for a fresh graduate with an Electrical Engineering (EE) background. A few months later, I was hired as a programmer for Symantec and since then I have never looked back. Starting my professional career as a programmer has enable me opportunities to work for company as big as Adaptec, Cisco, Sun Microsystems to medium and small companies. My roles has been vary from as a programmer, a project manager and for some opportune years as a software architect for a few startups in cities such as Austin, Boston, New York to Silicon Valley and Shanghai. Juggling project across different teams and different time zones. I would say that I have been lucky. There have been many successes and few failures.
Currently I am available for different opportunities and if are interested to talk to me, feel free to submit your information at this form. I am looking forward to your input and request.
